Outreach
Williamstown United Methodist Church reaches out to the community through various service projects:
Through our Food Pantry which feeds over 50 families,
Through our card ministry where cards are frequently sent to the sick, to the nursing homes, and to the homebound,
Through visits to the different community nursing homes and to our shut in's,
WUMC takes food to those that have a need after surgery or after the birth of a child,
Through care packages that are sent to our soldiers,
Through the Care Net program which has a baby bottle campaign to help the unwed mothers in our community,
Through our Angel Tree incentive at Christmas systems. We help provide the needs of anywhere between15-18 children,
Through school supplies that are given out each year when school starts & if possible again in January,
Through a blue ribbon program "Who I Am Makes a Difference." Ribbons are given to soldiers, to shut-ins and to our youth.
