The Williamstown United Methodist Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We grow in discipleship as we worship, study, pray, and serve together.
Opportunities for Christian growth include:
Sunday School (Sundays, 10am)
We have Sunday School groups for persons of all ages and interests. Come study, pray, and fellowship with us!
Worship (Sundays, 11am & 5pm)
In our morning worship service, the Word is proclaimed and the Sacraments are celebrated. Our style of worship is traditional, the atmosphere friendly. Feel free to come as you are—God loves you, and so will we.
Men's Group (Tuesdays at 6:30 PM)
Men of God, Plan to Win! On Tuesday nights at 6:30, we are having a men’s group that meets in the Chipman building for a time of study and prayer. We are studying Joe Gibbs’ “Game Plan for Life” and we want to invite all men to come and be part of our winning team.
Children and Youth (Wednesdays, 6:15-7:30 PM)
Kindergartners through high school students enjoy this time of fun and learning during the school year. Our children (preschool through 5th grade) enjoy Wednesday night movie nights while our youth group fellowship, play games, eat and have an amazing time growing closer to our Creator!
Choir (Sundays, 6pm) & Praise & Worship Band (Sundays, 6:30 PM)
Make a joyful noise to the Lord! Lift your voice in praise with other men and women of faith as the choir rehearses special music for worship. Sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses are welcome. Don’t know which you are? Come to practice and we’ll help you find your place. Choir rehearsal breaks for the summer months.
Wednesday Bible Study (Wednesdays at 6:30 PM)
Enjoy an informal time of teaching and discussion over a cup or two of decaffeinated coffee. Various topics and texts are covered. United Methodists are a thinking people who don’t always think alike. Though opinions may sometimes differ, we are bound together by a deep mutual love and respect. As men and women called by God to a life of faith, we search the Scriptures and allow our lives to be shaped by the Word.
The men and women of the United Methodist Church—our hearts, our minds, and our doors are open.
